New Customer Hints
For those of you who are first time customers, the information below will give you some hints and tips. Thanks again for your support!
Ordering:
All individual portrait files have been cropped to provide universal print size selection. Place a portrait into your cart, enter (view) your cart and select the desired print size and finish. If cropping will be required, a red outline will show on the file and you can adjust it using the "crop" button if necessary. Contact me if you have any problems getting a crop to fit. Note that some group shots are best ordered in sizes that are multiples of 4x5 (such as 4x5, 8x10, and 12x15).
SHARING with family and friends:
You can share your portrait with friends and family by just forwarding this note with the link to them or click the "share photo" button in the upper right corner.
ORDERING Prints and Gifts:
The online help is pretty complete and can be found here:

Special Products:
If you're interested in any of the SPECIAL PROCESSING options (B&W, Sepia, Handpainted look), just email me with the file names and I'll prepare them for you. There is a 20% surcharge per print for this service. But you don't pay a thing just to see if you like the look. Examples are here:

HELP and ISSUES Info:
There are help screens available throughout the site but don't hesitate to email me or call me if you have questions or problems.
Note that not all monitors accurately reproduce colors so if you see anything in the portrait that concerns you, just email me and I'll take a look. Also note that the portraits only display online at about 1/2 megapixel but are actually stored and printed from the 12 megapixel original file. We have had parents order prints up to 16x20". If you think you see any pixelation or "digital artifacts", call me or email with the info (where you see it), and I'll blow up that section, check it out, and email that portion to you so you can confirm. This link gives some additional info on things that effect the display:

Finally, do remember the Smugmug guarantee that says we will reprint or refund your money if you're not satisfied with a print. You can contact them direct at help@smugmug.com. This gives you the details on their guarantee:
